TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Lara Djonggrang, a restaurant famous for its Indonesian cuisine, now also offers a variety of cocktails made with authentic Indonesian ingredients. Inspired by ingredients such as various Indonesian spices, torch ginger, basil leaves, and coriander leaves, our mixologists have created a range of refreshing cocktail variants.

In creating unique and refreshing cocktails, our mixologists carefully select and process each ingredient with special techniques to create a unique and different sensation from other drinks.

The sensation created by the combination of special techniques and the uniqueness of authentic Indonesian ingredients can only be found in the cocktails offered at Lara Djonggrang. One of them is "Bondowoso" or "Kecombrang Sour," a drink with a mixture of Rye Whisky, kecombrang petals, homemade orange peel water, calamansi juice, and egg whites that are rich in benefits.

Our mixologists then created "Dara Langsing," a cocktail with a mixture of lemongrass, Dry Gin, Angostura Aromatic Bitter, and Sakura Sour. Lemongrass is one of the basic ingredients often used in Indonesian cuisine, with a unique and fresh aroma. Then, Sakura Sour made from sakura blossom and lemon juice gives a refreshing sour taste.

Another type of cocktail we have is the Queen of Boko or Kecombrang Martini. This cocktail consists of Dry Gin, Angostura Orange Bitter, and kecombrang. Queen of Boko is a popular drink at Lara Djonggrang because of its unique and distinctive taste. Queen of Boko is inspired by the beauty of the Boko kingdom in Yogyakarta. Queen of Boko reflects the grandeur of the Boko kingdom with a fresh taste of kecombrang. This type of cocktail will provide a different drinking experience for all its enthusiasts.

In addition to Queen of Boko, there are several other cocktails at Lara Djonggrang, such as Durga (Java Basil Mojito), Gupala (Pandan Sour), Pendopo (Gold Suzie Wong), Aput Negroni, Torang Negroni, and Java Margarita. Each drink has its own unique characteristics with the use of different ingredients. Each variant will create a different taste, story, and experience with each sip.

The uniqueness of Lara Djonggrang's cocktails, which is difficult to find elsewhere, relies on the concept of drinks that still maintain the taste of Indonesia.
